Big Sur road bike tour

Our tour is curated to contain all the biggest highlights of this little stretch of the Golden State’s coast. The view from your bike seat is animated by breathless sea cliffs, breaching Gray whales, and furtive sea otters. We’ll encounter rolling wine country and take on the iconic Highway 1, and hike amongst the noble Redwoods. From the burly rawness of Big Sur to the picturesque Santa Barbara’s coastline, our brushstrokes in the saddle sweep past peaceful farmland and great spans of ocean. A dreamy, essentially California-quality light outlines each successive landscape.

Rocky Mountain Road bike tour

From the rusty brown of the semi-arid lowlands, to the green, gold, and purple of alpine wildflower meadows, our Colorado road bike tour provides you with a great opportunity to find out what “colorful Colorado” is all about. Teddy Roosevelt’s vision, circa 1905, was to preserve “America’s Alps”, the San Juan Mountain Range within a 1.8-million acre (3000-square mile) National Forest. Our guides live for this: sharing some of the area’s unbelievably scenic routes, the unique terrain features. Big open runs through high meadows that roll like waves, exploding in shoulder-high wildflowers. For point and shoot types, the low-key signage at the trail head, “Watch for Traffic” means sharing space with mule deer, coyotes, fox, Wild Turkey, bobcat, not to mention some 200 type of songbirds and raptors.

Mount St. Helens

The star of the Cascade Mountain Range, Mount St. Helens might be best known for its eruption over 40 years ago. And while the summit is craterous, and dried volcanic streams are still visible, the area features verdant forests riddled with creeks, lakes, and waterfalls. There is plenty to explore and enjoy in the shadow of this iconic peak. During your six day summertime Mountain Biking Tour, we’ll cover all of the highlights and hidden treasures (did someone say cave exploration?) while enjoying gourmet meals and first class camping under the stars.
