Bolivia has beautiful unpaved routes, but also more and more beautiful asphalt roads. Highlight is the Salar de Uyuni the worlds largest salt flat.

Cycling in Bolivia. For a truly unique experience in South America, you cannot skip this, the salt encrusted Salar de Uyuni on bike. It is the experience of a bike ride in an unreal landscape, where you seem to cycle in heaven. Situated at almost 3700m and covering over 12,000 sq km, the Salar is the world’s largest salt flat. Our riders will make the crossing in one day, covering 135 km.

Climate
It ranges from humid and tropical to cold and semiarid. In many areas of the country, winters are dry and summers are wet, and the altitude of cities like La Paz keeps things relatively cool. April through October is winter, which is mostly cold and dry.
