Itinerary

NOTE: This trip requires an moderate level of fitness. The daily rides vary from 20 – 65 miles with significant altitude gains each day except the last.

Day 1: Arrive in Durango

This evening we will meet as a group at the Steamworks Brewing Company for a pre tour meal and entertainment.

Day 2: Durango to Cortez

The first leg of our journey around the San Juan Skyway brings us to Cortez, Colorado.
Distance: 46 miles

Day 3: Doloras naar Telluride

The cycle from Dolores to Telluride is a tough ride. It is mostly up hill but the payoff is TELLURIDE. This is a town worth pedaling to. We will have great beer waiting for you in one of the most beautiful spots around. You may add on 11 miles by starting at our hotel in Cortez.
Distance: 65 miles

Day 4: Telluride to Ouray

The ride from Telluride to Ouray is majestic. You will cycle along by streams, Mountains decked in fall color and postcard perfect mountains to the Switzerland of the United States. Ouray itself is picture perfect, often called the Switzerland of America. Tonight we will sample brews from the Ouray Brewery.
Distance: 50 miles

Day 5: Ouray to Silverton

While this ride is a shortish ride up and over Red Mountain pass on the Million Dollar Highway the result of your effort is highly rewarded in the town of Silverton, an old school mining town that looks much the same as it did in the late 1800’s.
Distance: 23 miles

Day 6: Silverton to Durango

The ride from Silverton to Durango is a glorious day of downhill riding through high mountain splendor you will be talking about until you come back and do it again. Tonight we will celebrate our adventure with dinner before parting ways.
Distance: 50 miles

Day 7: Depart from Durango

• All lodging during the adventure, based on double occupancy, if you would like your own room there is a single supplement available.

• Cue sheets, GPS and guided directions for each days adventure.

• Transportation to and from the adventure.

Tour price 2024 from: between $ 3000.00 pp. – $4000.00 pp. depending on which dates are requested. single fee from $500.-
Rental bike from: $520.-
Tour dates 2024:
Between June and September you can choose the date you prefer.
NOTE: Only available from 6 participants in one booking

Conditions

Deposit 25%
The deposit payment for a tour must be paid within two weeks after the booking is confirmed.
The remaining payment is due 90 days before the start of the tour.
For tours that are booked within 90 days before the start of the tour you will pay 100% of the tour price
